For sale is a small but scarce badge issued by TRANSOCEAN COATINGS and which depicts their distinctive emblem of an upright dolphin whose tail morphs into a paintbrush.
Transocean Coatings were established in 1959 and since then have been using their dolphin/paintbrush emblem. The company is a specialist manufacturer of marine paints as well as anti-fouling and anti-corrosion coatings for use with ships and boats.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 7/16" x 1/2" (11mm x 13mm). 1 1/2" (38mm) total length including the pin.
Material(s): brass metal with 1 enamel.
Finish: tin plated.
Fitting: stick-pin.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: late 1960's to early 1980's.
CONDITION:
Excellent condition. No damage.
