The Revolution Papers
Selling all 101 editions* of The Revolution Papers.
*Plus a few duplicates where this diddle-diddle dumpling clearly forgot he'd already bought that weeks edition......
The series began in December 2015 & concluded January 2018; they are no longer in print, you'll nae buy these in your local newsagents; indeed the one I bought mine in, Lamberts on Dublin St., is now closed*; another USP perhaps?
*As a newsagents; it's now a cracking wee coffee house.
These are, all faffing about aside, a genuine collectors item*, albeit not one one is likely to see on The Antiques Roadshow but still & all like.?
*Not just because I collected them....
€3.90 each they were at the time.
If, like me, even doing Ordinary Level Maths for the Leaving in 1997 was a challenge, I got the abacus out & it tells me that's €393.90.....but lookit there's deals tae be done; we'll nae be spitting in our paws & shaking on it at that price.
Also an Irish Independent 1916 11 part series which ran during the Autumn of 2015; we'll not put a price on them, we'll chuck 'em in for free.
Ruadhán McCormacks "The Supreme Court" too; fair sure I bought it for the Ma for a Christmas present that year but someone got there before me & it's remained in its wrapping paper ever since.
All items're in good nick; been kept in a good place & no exposure to sunlight or dampness; in fact, given the absolute mould ridden s**t hole I live in I'm quite surprised by & proud of that.
No rips or tears & while "Caveat Emptor"* springs to mind, any potential purchaser can, under supervision, peruse their purchase in the reading room prior to taking them away.
*Caveat Emptor's a Latin term; broadly speaking "Buyer Beware" as per my Junior Cert Business Studies Secondary School Teacher in the 90s.
With the extras I'm chucking in I'll knock €3.90 off the price to round it down to €390* cos I'm nice like that.
*I am though, 100% open to negotiation but no swapsies like second hand knickers from yer Da, used rubbers from your Grandaunts bedroom or stuff that's fallen off back of a lorry.
Am under no financial pressure to sell this collection so I'll nae be strongarmed on the price; if needs be I'll bequeath them in my will if not shifted by then.
Due to quantity & weight I will in my b******s be doing delivery on this; collection only.
As always all the usual Ts & Cs apply; no Mickey Money Tuesday or "I'll pay ya on the 12th of Never when my Dazzlers mainto cheque comes in for our 12th Sprog Britney-Anto" types need apply.
To be fair such types're unlikely to be interested in these items; they think watching Michael Collins or some such on RTE or TV3 at Christmas time, during Easter etc. makes 'em a historian....
Payment by PayPal or EFT preferred; no Monopoly money or a £5 notes left over from 2001.
