For sale is a blood donor badge issued by the South African Blood Transfusion Service (SABTS). The language on this badge is in both English and Afrikaans, and reads:

SABOD BLOED SKENKER (SABOD = Suid-Afrikaanse Bloedoortappingsdiens).

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 15/16" x 1 1/16" (23mm x 27mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 3 enamels.
Finish: tin wash (very thin plating).
Fitting: pin.
Imprint: METAL ART POSBUS 1483 BOX PRETORIA
Approximate age: 1950's to 1960's.

CONDITION:
Good condition. No damage. Pin in working order. Some wear to the tin wash.
