Sheraton Revival Mahogany Jardinere With Satinwood Inlay
Here is a beautiful Edwardian(Circa 1905) Sheraton revival plant jardinere..that has been constructed with mahogany and satinwood inlay banding throughout. The piece is 38 inches tall and 12.5 inches in diameter. It is raised on tapering square sectioned splay legs..which are United by a shaped under tier shelf.The piece is in overall beautiful condition with no rot or worm to report..two solid heat expansion hairlines on the cylinder..(these were never designed for central heating)...but is still very very presentable and they add to its story and provenance.
