Shepherd Boy Lamp, (no shade)

This is a Rare Statue Lamp of a Shepherd Boy with a sheep, approx 50 cm high with slightly some wear which adds to its Vintage/Antique Charm. Unfortunately it has no Lampshade any longer. Could think off that it had originally some leaves, most probably ivy on its rod.
Statue is often referred to as the "Whistling Boy" or "Young Farmboy & his Sheep"
The Skulpture is sometimes attributed to Italian Artist Mario Pegoraro.
It depicts a Boy wearing a hat, holding a staff and tending to a sheep.
Presume material is either polyresin or plaster like it was common in those years.
