Sewing Machine c.1907
Beautiful antique Jones Family C.S. Type 7 hand-crank sewing machine, made in Manchester, England.
Serial number 169390, dating the machine to approximately 1907.
The machine features the desirable original “As Supplied to Her Majesty Queen Alexandra” decoration, together with attractive original gold and coloured decals.
Complete with its wooden base and original wooden protective case/cover. Some accessories and sewing parts are also present in the storage compartment.
A wonderful decorative and highly collectable piece of British sewing-machine history, approximately 120 years old.
The machine is in original unrestored condition with age-related wear, patina and some surface corrosion, as shown in the photographs.
