An incredible, complete set of 5 vintage handcrafted Moorish/Middle Eastern engraved brass serving charger plates/wall trays.

What makes this set highly unique and collectible is the stamped marking on the back: "INTER-CONTINENTAL HOTELS, IRELAND."

These plates were originally acquired to decorate the iconic Dublin Inter-Continental Hotel in Ballsbridge, which opened its doors as a luxury landmark in May 1963. They feature stunning, hand-etched concentric geometric borders, and while they match in size and style, each center medallion features a uniquely detailed pattern (including starburst rosettes and flaming radial designs).
