For sale is a membership enamel badge of the SANTA CRUZ (CA) MINERAL & GEM SOCIETY, established in May 1949. The society is still active and whose primary aim is to unite persons interested in the collecting and study of minerals and gemstones. They also publish their own monthly newsletter ‘The Lapidarian’ and organise a major annual show with over 50 exhibits and 20 dealers.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 1 1/8" diameter (28mm).
Material(s): diecast metal alloy with 4 enamel colours.
Finish: gilt.
Fitting: rollbar pin.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: late 1980's to early 2000's.

CONDITION:
Excellent condition. No damage. Pin in working order. The marks on the reverse side are manufacturing blemishes and NOT post-production.
