ROYAL REGIMENT OF ARTILLERY (The Gunners) - two vintage UBIQUE collar badges (probably of the WW2 period, 1940's)

For sale are two collar badges of the Royal Regiment of Artillery, nicknamed 'The Gunners'. These badges show an old style flaming grenade of the 7-flame variety (incidentally, the Royal Engineers collar badges are of a similar design but show a 9-flame motif as well as the Ubique motto). The motto UBIQUE (everywhere) indicate that the regular Royal Artillery (like the Royal Engineers) serve everywhere in the military campaigns of the British Army.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 1 1/16" x 1 13/16" (29mm x 46mm).
Material(s): brass metal.
Finish: bronzed?
Fitting: each with 2 lugs to take a split-pin.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: probably WW2 period, 1939-1945?

CONDITION:
Excellent condition with no damage. Lugs firmly attached.
