Landed in France 23 August 1914.

War Office, 11th November, 1916. His Majesty the KING has been graciously pleased to award the Military Medal for bravery in the field to the undermentioned Non-Commissioned Officers and Men:— 9622 Pte. J. Treacy, R. Dub. Fus.
James Treacy. Reg. No. 9622. Rank; Private, Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Reported wounded, June 16, 1917.
James died 1928 age 38yrs. Lived Limerick Road, Naas. His son, George Treacy deserted from Irish Army and joined British military during the WW2. Sapper George Treacy (26), son of James and Mary Treacy, Limerick Road, Naas. Royal Engineers, attached 1st Airborne Division. Died at home, on 17 July 1945, of wounds received in Sicily in 1943.
Unfortunately Military Medal is not period one and seems like is laser engraved or something, hence the price. 1914 Star trio is all original and no issues with the naming’s there.
