Rare Vintage Children's Blackboard on Stand Old Irish Alphabet
From the 1950s I think. Blackboard is mounted on a metal A frame.
Top of the blackboard has the 18 character traditional Irish alphabet (aibítir) which was replaced in the mid-20th century with An Caighdeán Oifigiúil.
Blackboard is made of compressed cardboard with some peeling to top corners. No makers name - patent pending.
Size of board is 17.5" x 16"
Height including stand is 28"
In original unrestored condition and very hard to find.
