Rare Pre-WWII 1938 .50 Vickers Incendiary Shell complete with Inert

A rare, complete display round for the British .50 Vickers (12.7×81mmSR) heavy machine gun. Manufactured in 1938 at the historic Royal Laboratory in Woolwich, London, this piece features the original brass casing paired with a loose, removable silver-toned incendiary projectile.

Details & Headstamp:

Headstamp Markings: "R L" (Royal Laboratory, Woolwich), "38" (1938 date), Crown Pheon broad arrow mark, and "F I Z" (Incendiary Mk I, Nitrocellulose).

Projectile: Original silver-finish cupronickel bullet, fully removable from the case neck.

Dimensions: Case is approx. 3" long (81mm); full assembled round stands roughly 4.2" tall.

History: Used in pre-WWII RAF aircraft turrets and Royal Navy anti-aircraft mountings.

Condition:
