Rare old print of Carnavon castle and surrounding sea, town and ships. London published for the proprietor by Geo. Virtue, 36 Ivy Lane. 1841. They were the publishers of prints of etchings and engravings by WH Bartlett. William Henry Bartlett was a British artist best known fir his numerous drawings rendered into steel engravings, especially of North America but also of Britain and Europe. He made sepia wash drawings the exact size to be engraved. Beautifully framed and glazed. On the back of the frame it says the print is over 100 years old which makes it likely to be 150 years old now. Measures 13.5 by 13 inches. Best collected but possible to deliver locally or to Dublin. Postage extra.
