Rare antique art nouveau WMF claret jug

Rare Antique Art Nouveau silver plated Carafe/claret jug from the late 19th/ early 20th century by famous German makers WMF.

Beautifully handcrafted with Floral designs all over the body. Excellent workmanship. This is an authentic example of the Art Nouveau period. Great conversation piece.

This is model no.418 and mentioned on the catalogue "Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork From Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik 1906" page 139.

Very good antique condition. There is a small flower bud broken off from the lid (see picture) which is not noticeable. One leg is a bit bent. Back stamp as WMFB I/O.

There is some tarnish to the silver plate which should remove easily if wanted, however some folks like the more aged look and so I will leave it up to yourself.
