Quilted Bigleaf Maple Bowl Handmade Signed 1997 Vancouver Island Wood

Small handmade wooden pin dish carved from figured quilted bigleaf maple.

The underside is handwritten with the wood type, a reference to Vancouver Island and Haddington, Ontario, a 1997 date and what appears to be the maker’s initials or signature.

Approximately 9 × 6 × 3 cm.

The bowl has an attractive natural figured grain and an organic asymmetrical shape. Suitable as a ring dish, coin tray, pin bowl or small desk accessory.

Used condition with scratches and tool or wear marks underneath, together with general surface wear. No major split is visible.
