For sale is a vintage devotional French Catholic medal to the Perpetual Holy Rosary. This medal comes complete with its original blue & white ribbon along with its safety pin.

The obverse side shows an image of the Holy Madonna with infant Jesus and two saints. The text in French reads REINE DU TRES SAINT ROSAIRE PRIEZ P. N. (Queen of the most Holy Rosary pray for us).

The reverse side shows an AM monogram standing for Auspice Marie (Latin for "under the protection of Mary") and the text ROSAIRE PERPETUEL GARDE D'HONNEUR DE MARIE LYON. The "Rosaire Perpétuel ou Garde d'honneur de Marie" is a Catholic association devoted to praying to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the association was approved by Pope Pius IX in 1867.

Medal in excellent condition. No damage. Some minor oxidation marks on the safety pin. Ribbon slightly stained.
