Pair of Irish Cast Iron Figures
Beautiful matching pair of Irish cast horse figures, made in the foundry Bailieborough in Co. Cavan.
Lovely traditional design with a rich brown/bronze-style finish, with the two horses facing each other on decorative stepped bases.
A lovely piece of Cavan history — these horses were made locally at the Cavan/Bailieboro foundry and are believed to be a familiar pair in many Cavan homes.
