Pair of Cobridge Stoneware Vases Blue Woodland Design Moorcroft Sister Pottery
Title: Pair of Cobridge Stoneware Vases Blue Woodland Design Moorcroft Sister Pottery
Matching pair of hand-decorated stoneware vases in a moody blue-grey woodland/tree design with tube-lined detail – one classic baluster shape, one tall ovoid.
Cobridge Stoneware was the sister pottery to Moorcroft in Stoke-on-Trent, and its pieces are collected by Moorcroft enthusiasts. Both vases are fully marked "Cobridge Stoneware, Stoke-on-Trent, England", with decorators' initials, and dated ©98 and ©02.
Size: both approx. 32–33 cm (13 in) tall.
Condition: very good, no chips or cracks that I can see. Light age marks to the unglazed foot rims.
