Pair of Antique Victorian / Edwardian Turned Hardwood Police Truncheons

A pair of original, late-19th or early-20th-century antique police truncheons.

Both are hand-turned from an exceptionally dense, heavy tropical hardwood (Lignum Vitae / Cocuswood) and possess a gorgeous, authentic dark aged patina.

This lot features two distinct historical handle configurations: One is crafted with deep, sweeping ring-turned ridges and includes its original stitched leather strap collar at the base pommel. The second features a tightly ribbed corrugated grip design complete with a vintage hemp cord wrist lanyard.

Both pieces are structurally pristine, completely solid, and free of any wood splits, dry rot, or chips.
