Pair of Antique Japanese Kinkozan Satsuma Vases Geisha Figures

A beautiful matching pair of antique Japanese Satsuma pottery vases, believed to date from the early 20th century, circa 1900–1930.

The vases feature complementary hand-painted scenes of Japanese ladies in traditional dress, surrounded by flowers. Both have cobalt-blue borders, detailed gilding, raised enamel decoration and the finely crackled glaze associated with Satsuma ware.

One vase is clearly marked underneath with the three-character Kinkozan mark (金光山). The companion vase has a faint or partial painted mark underneath.

Good antique display condition with natural glaze crazing and age-related wear to the gilding and decoration. Please examine the photographs carefully for condition.
