Original 1964 French SNCF railway workplace safety poster, featuring striking period artwork of a painter falling from a damaged ladder.

The French slogan reads:

“Échelle en mauvais état – Chute certaine!”
“Ladder in poor condition – certain fall!”

Issued for SNCF (French National Railways) and carrying the SNCF reference 0.001.6179 in the bottom corner.

Signed Durupt and printed by P. Hauducœur, with the printer’s marking 5-64 indicating May 1964.

Measures approximately 40cm x 30cm.

A genuine vintage piece showing age-related wear, edge wear and original fold lines, all clearly shown in the photographs. The artwork and colours remain very strong.
