Original 1950s French industrial safety poster, issued by the Institut National de Sécurité, Paris and marked HAVAS, Paris – N°011.

Striking period artwork showing a factory worker suffering an eye injury while using a grinding machine, with a pair of unused protective goggles prominently illustrated.

The French slogan “Pourquoi ne les as-tu pas mises?” translates approximately as “Why weren’t you wearing them?”

A particularly colourful example of mid-century French workplace safety advertising, with strong yellow, blue and orange graphics.

Measures approximately 27 × 21 cm.

In very good original vintage condition, with light age-related wear consistent with its age. Please see photographs for condition.
