For sale is a small tictac enamelled badge showing a woman wearing the Orange Order outfit and orange sash. This badge was likely sold to raise funds for Loyalist causes within Ulster (Northern Ireland).

The Orange Order is a Protestant fraternal organization established 1795 in County Armagh, Ireland and named after William of Orange, who later became king William III of England and defeated King James II who had defended Catholic rights. Women participate in the Orange Order through separate female branches, primarily the Association of Loyal Orangewomen of Ireland.

Size: about 5/16" x 1" (8mm x 25mm).
Material(s): diecast metal alloy with 5 enamel colours.
Finish: tin or nickle plated. Front side encapsulated within a clear acrylic layer.
Fitting: pin with butterfly clutch.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: 1980s to 1990s.
