For sale are two promotional button badges issued by ORAL-B and Proctor & Gamble to promote their children's dental hygiene products. The Crest badge shows an elephant holding a tube of Crest toothpaste along with the text THE BAND OF BUSY BRUSHERS - AN ELEPHANT NEVER FORGETS-DO YOU? The other badge shows the Oral-B man running, holding a toothbrush.

DESCRIPTION:
Sizes: about 1 1/4" (32mm) diameter and 1 1/2" (38mm) diameter.
Material(s): steel body with printed paper inserts under a clear cellulose laminate.
Finish: inserts printed lithography. Reverse side tin/metallic wash.
Fittings: D-pins.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: 1970s & 1980s.

CONDITION:
Both badges in very good condition. No damage. Pins in working order. Some minor marks on front of Crest badge but noticeable only when held to the light at a certain angle.
