Old photographic portrait of a striking-looking young gentleman, circa 1920s. Signed 'Willie Burke, Madras'. (Burke was a well-known photographer of the British Raj in India in the early part of the 20th century.)
There is a name written on the back: '(Willie?) Laird'
Under heavy glass with a paper backing and surround.
Measures 19cm x 15.5cm.
In good overall condition with some age-related wear and light staining.
Nice item.
May suit for props.
