For sale is a vintage silver badge of the Old Dolphin’s Association (ODA). This badge is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 (E) and shows the ODA’s crest with motto FRANCHA LEALE TOGE, which is Cornish for ‘frank and loyal art thou’. The word ‘Godolphin’ is Cornish for a double-headed eagle, upon which the school’s crest is based

The ODA is an alumni network of past pupils from the Godolphin and Latymer School. The ODA was established in 1910 and has approximately 3500 members worldwide as at 2024.

The Godolphin and Latymer School is located in Hammersmith, West London and is an independent day school for girls aged 11 to 18 years. The Godolphin School for Boys opened in 1856 and closed in 1900, then in 1905 was reopened as the Goldolphin and Latymer School for girls.

Imprint: fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1929 (E) and a maker's mark WPC or WPO?
Approximate age: 1929 / 1930

CONDITION:
Very good condition. pin in working order. There is a tiny edge-knock about the 2 o/ position and some minor stress marks about the 7 o/c position.
