Selling this oil painting on wood of a landscape with trees and a cloudy sky.
Signed and dated at the top: L. Surdi 30-12-1916.
Also dedicated “Al carissimo amico” (to my dearest friend).
Luigi Surdi (Naples 1897 – Rome 1959) was an Italian painter. He showed at the Venice Biennale and the Rome Quadriennale.
Size 33 x 41 cm. Dark wooden frame. The panel is a bit loose in the frame. Some paint loss at the bottom left corner.
Original oil painting, ready to hang.
