New Spotlight Record

A 45 rpm vinyl single record issued with the New Spotlight music magazine, and which was compiled by Radio Luxembourg in London. The Star Souvenir Greetings are from: David Cassidy, Fanny, Labi Siffre, the Bee Gees, Slade, Neil Diamond, THIN LIZZY, Dana, Uriah Heap, Cliff Richard and Val Doonican. The B-side of the record features Johnny Cash singing Danny Boy, The record is in VG condition with just a few minor surface scratches. I don't have a copy of Spotlight to go along with it so I can't pinpoint the date exactly. 1973 perhaps, when the magazine shifted away from its Irish showband roots and began to feature more international pop and rock music acts.
