Morden & Co Rosewood Travelling Inkwell Circa 1850
Morden & Co were ser up in 1815 by Sampson Morden and John Isaac Hawkins. This is a simply stunning and very rare solid rosewood travelling inkwell..which has a lid that connects via a twist lock mechanism..The piece is appropriately 5 cms tall and is in amazing condition..It has no moisture splits..top or bottom..retains it's original glass bottle and even has it's original rubber to hold the bottle in place. The lid has a silver Morden & Co London cap in place..These are very very difficult to find in this condition..or indeed in any condition..Registered post is available for an additional five euro. Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
