For sale are two promotional button abdges issued by the Lloyds Bank to promote their insurance cover and their Access credit card. The Access card was heavily featured in multimedia campaigns as the "Flexible Friend" card figure.

The Flexible Friend badge dated to around the mid-1980s and featured the Flexible Friend car man as well as the Black Horse Lloyd's emblem. The teddy bear badge dates from the early to the mid 1990s. Both badges are 2.25" (55mm) diameter.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 2 1/4" diameter (55mm).
Material(s): steel body with printed paper insert under a clear cellulose laminate.
Finish: insert printed lithography. Backing of plastic or tin-wash steel.
Fittings: pin.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: 1980s & 1990s.

CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage. Pins in working order. Tin wash partially worn on back of the Flexible Friend badge, as is usual for these types of badges.
