large antique Gladstone bag

Large antique Gladstone leather bag. Dated from the early 1900. This is a very rare extra large & heavy duty specimen. With brass fittings and a working lock , two keys included. The brown leather exterior has a nice patina with a few knocks and scrapes that give this one hundred year old bag its unique character. The inside is lined in a heavy canvas with identification stamps from the former Ulster Bank (Markets Branch), Belfast. The bank was completed in 1922. The building is still extant in Belfast today. This one off feature gives this historic item its unique provenance. A very beautiful Gladstone bag for everyday use or period correct costume.
