An exceptionally elegant and heavy matching 2-piece Victorian silver-plated salad serving set, manufactured by the highly prestigious silversmith John Round & Son of Sheffield, England.

The set includes a long-handled serving spoon and a matching serving fork featuring the timeless, clean Old English pattern design.

Markings:
- Beautifully stamped on the reverse with the famous Gothic shield maker's mark: "JR & S" (John Round & Son), alongside the letter "A" and quality mark "EP". Dates this set exactly between 1863 and 1897.
