For sale is an enamel badge issued by the LADIES ASSOCIATION OF BRITISH BARBERSHOP SINGERS (LABBS). This badge depicts their music note logo that is still current with them.

LABBS was established in 1976 and is one of three barbershop-singing organisations in the UK as well as being the only one dedicated to female barbershop singers. They currently have 60 clubs with over 2,200 members who form choruses and quartets that perform shows and take part in barbershop singing and harmony competitions.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 15/16" diameter (24mm).
Material(s): diecast metal alloy with 3 vitreous enamels.
Finish: gilt wash (very thin plating).
Fitting: rollbar pin.
Imprint: MW monogram of Manhattan Windsor Ltd of Birmingham. This company was established in 1948 and dissolved in January 2000.
Approximate age: late 1970's to 1980's.

CONDITION:
Excellent condition. No damage. Pin in working order.
