For sale is a truly massive, spectacular vintage mid-century Japanese porcelain decorative vase, executed in the iconic and highly collectible Kutani/Satsuma style.

Standing at an impressive 32.5 cm tall and approx. 22 cm wide, this substantial statement piece features a vibrant coral red/orange glazed background (Aka-e style) with a beautiful soft yellow gradient at the base. The front is hand-decorated with a traditional scene depicting birds amongst large imperial white and gold chrysanthemums. The shoulder features a dense geometric black and gold gilded brocade pattern.

A stunning, heavy, and very elegant centerpiece perfect for retro, modern, or mid-century style interior decors.
