For sale is a finely made souvenir enamel badge issued by the BMF (British Motorcyclists Federation) and would have been available for sale to visitors attending their bike show at the NEC in Birmingham.

The International Bike Show was the BMF's flagship exhibition and had been held annually at the NEC in Birmingham from the early 1980’s. Prior to that, Earls Court in London hosted the BMF bike shows. Today, the BMF's bike shows take place at Peterborough and Kelso.

The BMF was established in 1960 to promote responsible motorcycling and present a more positive image of bikers. In 1965 they were renamed as the BMF and today continue to advocate for motorcyclist rights at both a national and EU level. The BMF employ instructors that provide a range of motorcycle training from basic up to its Blue Riband advanced rider scheme, as well as being an approved body for training instructors.

CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage. Pin in working order. A scratch mark across the white enamel but only noticeable upon close examination or magnification.
