For sale is a enamel membership badge of the HOLIDAY FELLOWSHIP (HF). The HF was established in 1913 by Thomas Arthur Leonard to provide "recreational and educational" holidays for working people and at affordable prices. DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 1" x 7/8" (25mm x 22mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 5 enamels.
Finish: gilt.
Fitting: buttonhole (horseshoe shaped clasp) (ladies badges would have had a pin fitting instead).
Imprint: W. O. LEWIS (BADGES) Ld BIRMINGHAM
Approximate age: in use between 1939 and 1960.
CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage.
