Henry Howell &Co ( Johnathan Howell) were specialist cane and stick manufacturers.This piece is a cut above anything else that you will see at this price point..The entire Dandy top has been spliced in with different woods to give a truly magnificent finish.The top has a perfectly formed miniature chessboard..to show off the extent of the carver's skills.The silver collar has clear hallmarks and was assayed in Birmingham in 1900.It also has a clear cartouche.The can is solid oak and is 36" long.The cane has no splits or repairs..Registered post is available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads
