For sale is a scarce button badge issued during the 1970's for Hamlyn Children's Books. This charming badge features characters from children's cartoons of the 60's and 70's that have gone on to become cult classics.

* TRUMPTON - the Mayor.
* MAGIC ROUNDABOUT - Florence and her dog, Dougal.
* NOGGIN THE NOG - the young Prince Knut.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 1 1/2" diameter (38mm).
Material(s): steel body with printed paper insert under a clear cellulose laminate.
Finish: light gilt wash on the reverse side.
Fittings: D-pin.
Imprint: None.
Approximate age: around mid-1970's or earlier.

CONDITION:
Excellent condition. No damage. Pin in working order. Gilt wash in excellent condition also.
