Fabulous Set of Three Vintage Retro Mid Century Modern Cocktail Tumblers or Juice Glasses with a Gilt Banding and a Band of Mint-Green Sugar Frosting, Circa 1950s

I am almost at the end of my effort to downsize, not many items left to list! But I have to clear a cabinet of glassware, so I have some sets of glasses coming up.

Available here is a Fabulous Set of Three Vintage Retro Mid Century Modern Cocktail Tumblers or Juice Glasses with a Gilt Banding and a Band of Mint-Green Sugar Frosting, Circa 1950’s

A great unusual shape with lovely clean lines, and a cool stripy pattern of gilt banding which accentuates the shape and a small band of Mint-Green Sugar Frosting at the base, so popular in the mid century. The glasses are clear blown glass.

They are un-marked on the base, and my research has not been able to definitively identify the maker.

The three glasses are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks and little damage or wearing to the gilt pattern or frosted finish. One glass does have a small burst bubble on the rim, from the time of manufacture.

They stand 3.5 inches/9cm tall and the diameter is 2.5 inches/6.5cm, so they are cocktail/punch tumblers or juice glasses, I would guess.

Lovely set for a home bar, bar cart, or man cave.
