Dramatic Impasto Coastal Seascape Oil Painting by S.Paton
Dramatic Impasto Coastal Seascape Oil Painting by S. Paton
This is a striking mid-century original expressionist oil on board landscape. It features a sweeping crimson and fiery orange sunset sky rendered with heavy, textured palette-knife impasto work. The dark, windswept trees stand out sharply against a churning ocean. It is housed in a premium, heavy gilt gesso border frame with a velvet liner inlay.
Signed S.Paton in the lower left corner.
