For sale is a scarce promotional badge issued by the Daily Express national newspaper who were sponsors of the Junior 5-A-Side football championships. These games were played in the Empire Pool at Wembley Stadium, London.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: 1" diameter (about 25mm).
Material(s): Brass or diecast metal with 3 vitreous enamels.
Finish: Gilt.
Fitting: Pin.
Imprint: RAWLINS ORG'N - HUDDERSFIELD
Approximate year(s) of issue: c.1970 to early 1980's. Could relate to the 1970 championships game but was unable to find confirmation of this. If anyone knows a more precise dating for this badge, please let me know.

CONDITION:
A very good condition metal and enamel badge. Pin is tight and in working order.There are very minor scratches in the white enamel but only noticeable under magnification.
