Civil Service Motoring Association (CSMA) - membership enamel badge (c.1930's)
Postage is extra.
For sale is an early membership badge of the CIVIL SERVICE MOTORING ASSOCIATION (CSMA). The CSMA was formed in 1923 as a motorsport club for civil servants and has since steadily grown in size. Today, the CSMA is part of Boundless (UK), a general travel and leisure club open for membership to civil servants, public workers and including employees of the Royal Mail and British Rail companies. CSMA membership also provided additional benefits such as money-saving deals for holidays, insurances, special ticketed events and roadside rescue through approved partners. Britannia Rescue was previously owned by the CSMA until it was sold on to the Liverpool Victoria insurance company in 2007.
CSMA changed its name to Boundless on the 31st May 2016.
