For sale is a vintage and scarce promotional stickpin badge issued in conjunction with the National Christian Family Week (May 1962). This badges shows the Family Week emblem and the years 1962-63, presumably May to May.

The aims of the Christian Family Week were to be "focused on strengthening the foundation of the Christian home, encouraging family dedication services, and promoting shared religious education for parents and children". The event was observed mainly by the Anglican Church but other non-denominational churches.

Size (medal): about 1/2" width (13mm). Total length with pin is about 1 1/2" (33mm).
Material(s): a diecast metal alloy.

Imprint: none. Reverse side plain.
Approximate age: 1962

CONDITION:
Good condition overall. No damage. Surface tarnish as often see with older zinc-based diecast alloys.
