Good condition for such vintage collection
This is a great gift for any book collector

The complete set was published in 1955 by George Newnes. It is really well preserved and is a source of information and a decorative feature of a study or home library. The Internet will never look so good!

Well bound and structurally secure binding , no pages missing or significant damage or deterioration with age and use. Leather bound, little fading there is light distortion in the photos. A few pages have folds.

Each volume measures 19cms by 27.5. Thickness varies slightly. Very heavy, for example 1 volume weighed 1.7kg, I estimate total weight to be 25kg
