For sale is a vintage membership badge of the CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE (CWL) dating to the 1930s. This badge shows the old crest of the CWL along with their motto CHARITY - WORK - LOYALTY.

The Catholic Women's League (CWL) is an international lay organization for Catholic women established in 1906 by Margaret Fletcher.

Originally intended to bring together Catholic women in England, the organization has grown and are established in numerous countries worldwide. Membership consists mainly of women who are members of the Catholic Church, who work together to promote Catholic values and who carry out volunteer and charitable work.
