For sale is a souvenir badge issued to commemorate the Carols for the Queen event. This badge shows an image of the front of Buckingham Palace in London.

Carols for the Queen was a special event where large carol choirs gathered outside Buckingham in celebration of the Queen. The event took place on the 16th December 1979 and ended with a large fireworks display.

Sale of these badges would have raised funds to help defray costs of the event and also for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
