.
For sale is an attractive and rare enamel badge issued as part of the fund-raising events that took place at the Gordon Castle Fete on 6th September 1916. The stag emblem was adapted from the Gordon Highlanders regimental badge.
CANUSPA (Canada & United States Parent's Association) was a trans-Atlantic organisation set up during the latter years of WW2 (1939-1945). CANUSPA's main function was to assist in contacting people who had emigrated with overseas servicemen to Canada and the United States. Other similar organisations were set up during the early 1940's such as TBPA (Trans Atlantic Bride's & Parent's Association) and ANZEFA (Australia & New Zealand Emigrants & Families Association).
