For sale is a 1967 resident camper's badge issued by the Butlin's holiday camp at Clacton-on-Sea in Essex. The Clacton holiday camp opened in 1938 and issued their own badges from then until 1967. The Clacton camp closed in 1983, after which the site was sold and redeveloped for housing. This badge was the final year of issue at Butlin holiday camp at Clacton.

Size: about 27/32" x 1" (21mm x 26mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 2 vitreous enamels.
Finish: tin wash (thin plating).
Fitting: pin.
Imprint: J. R. GAUNT LONDON
Approximate age: 1967

CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage. Pin in working order. very minor wear to the tin wash.
