For sale is a 1959 resident camper's badge issued by the Butlin's holiday camp at Clacton-on-Sea in Essex. The Clacton holiday camp opened in 1938 and issued their own badges from then until 1967. The Clacton camp closed in 1983, after which the site was sold and redeveloped for housing.

All my Butlin's badges for sale are guaranteed as being genuine originals.

Size: about 27/32" x 7/8" (21mm x 22mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 2 vitreous enamels.
Finish: tin wash (thin plating).
Fitting: pin.
Imprint: J R GAUNT LONDON
Approximate age: 1959

CONDITION:
Good condition. No damage. Pin in working order. Some wear on the tin wash.
