BUTLINS BOGNOR REGIS 1964 (holiday camp, West Sussex) - resident camper's enamel badge
Postage is extra.
.
For sale is a 1964 resident camper's badge issued by the Butlin's holiday camp at Bognor Regis in West Sussex. The Bognor holiday camp was opened by Billy Butlin in 1960 on a 39 acres site and could accommodate up to 3,000 weekly campers and as many day visitors again. Butlins Bognor issued their own design of camper badges continuously from 1960 to 1967.
By 1968, the format of holiday camp at Bognor was changing, a major refurbishment had taken place and in 1987 the camp was rebranded as the Southcoast World. in 1998, following a £45 million redevelopment, the holiday camp had moved away from self-catering and chalets to a hotel-based style of accommodation and as it remains today. The holiday camp at Bognor Regis was one of only three Butlin's holiday camps to retain the Butlin's name, now called the Butlin's Resort Bognor Regis.
All my Butlin's badges for sale are guaranteed as being genuine originals.
